Food Friday's ~ Baked in a Box: Bread Cones

So I missed Friday! How the times flies when school starts up again! But hey I figure it's still Friday some places, so I'll share something yummy with you now.

I must begin by saying this is not my recipe, but it does come out amazing when Baked in a Box!

You can find the recipe here if you want to try these out, they are super fun and very pretty too. I have only two additions to make, if you are baking in a toaster oven the larger end of the cone will brown before the tale does as it is closer to the heat. The are a few ways to resolve this problem, and you can probably think of a few more. You can cover the the top half with foil after it reaches desired color, you can pull the tray half out of the toaster oven leaving only the tails left inside(this is what I did) or before it starts to brown you can use something to elevate the tails to the same height as the top. Adding to this also a word of caution you may want to cover them and cook for a while before removing the covering to let them brown. As with cooking anything else, toaster ovens tend to cook the outside faster then the inside, and no one likes an ewy-gooy chewy sandwich role. Enjoy!
