Back in Town

So we've be gone and busy and running around like headless chickens (seriously though have you ever seen a chicken with it's head cut off!?). Anyway, you might think we are always running and to be perfectly honest you might be right but I'm sure some day we'll slow down a bit.

So this weeks adventures took us to Guangzhou, second time for my husband but a new city for me and oh how love it! It's down near Hongkong so it's probably never seen snow, the air is so humid it is a bid hard to breath sometimes and when the sun comes out you can definitely feeling the boiling effect. But the air ... it smells so clean and fresh and green like flowers and rain on the grass, and the river is just a bit briny so it smell rather like the sea.

We went there on business but it was oh so pleasurable! My husband had an interview with the embassy there. He had to get a medical exam and vaccines and .... be interrogated. Well it wasn't that bad, not for him anyway. Everything went down smooth as some buttered noodles and they say they will sending his passport with a visa very soon. Feeling so excited and blessed and above all so thankful! By this summer we'll be heading stateside. I'm so excited to be going home, and so beyond excited for everyone back home to meet my amazing husband!

So many wonderful things to see and do, our favorite was Ikea I wasn't sure Leon would like it but amazingly I think he loved it more then I did! It's good we don't have one in Harbin we'd probably go every week, buy half the store and drool on the other half. Speaking of droooooling, I also found in this wonderful city .... Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. This might not sound like much to you, but believe me when it's your favorite and you haven't even seen it in almost two years, you will never forget that first taste of eating it again!
