It's always tough when my husband's off on business, but it's also nice to have a quiet morning to myself. Even the cats like settling into sleepy fuzzy balls for most of the day. The question always arises of how to spend those precious morning hours. They are undoubtedly my favorite hours of the day but I'm usually stuck sitting the morning away in dark classrooms, with loud teachers and unbelievably uncomfortable bench seats. So a Thursday morning is a truly beautiful thing!
The options usually include; cleaning, baking, blogging, or going out. This depends mostly on my mood, energy level, and of course how messy the house is. Blogging, relaxing, doing my nails, and my hair is usually the option that wins and is definitely my favorite!
Today I made a grilled cheddar sandwich for lunch, unfortunately there was no pepperoni in it and no tomato soup for dunking. The store bought tomatoes in Harbin are dreadful, especially at this time of year. I have started growing my own from seeds which against my expectations are sprouting up lovely, unfortunately they're getting rather crowded and I'm going to have to separate them soon. But if they keep growing like this I expect I'll have some delicious tomatoes, and for that I am very excited!
Tonight's dinner will be pizzas, homemade pizzas, delicious pizzas, pizzas with and without cheese! Come back tomorrow and you can see how I make them and why some are cheeseless.
