Choosing a Country and Settling Down

Big decisions being made, not really New Years resolutions ... more like planning for a new beginning and a fresh start.

For two of the last two and a half years my Husband and I have made our home in China, but with the birth of our daughter we decided (originally) to come and stay state side for 6 months. Well since then our plans have gradually changed and we've decided to stay in the U.S. for at least the next few years if not longer. With that said, we do still have to go back for a few weeks this summer to clean up the mess we left behind and visit my husbands family.

Leon (my husband) recently got a more stable, career type job here in Delaware which he'll be starting next Monday. This week we also bought our first car. In China we never needed one  and for the last few months we've been borrowing my parent car but being that we decided to stay, it was time to get our own. So last week we bought a 2013 Prius hybrid and so far we love it.

We'll probably continue staying with my family till after our trip to China, but after we get back we'll be looking for a house to rent. But all that will come in good time.

Our little Guin is growing so fast, 3 months now, just the other day she figured out how to roll over and she has turned into quite a little chatter bug.
